Sheriff's Report - September 3

On Saturday August 30th Deputy Nathan Maxlow observed a vehicle weaving on US 68 E. When Deputy Maxlow initiated traffic stop the vehicle nearly struck a road sign while pulling over. Upon contact with the subject Deputy Maxlow observed a strong odor of alcoholic beverage present.

Sheriff's Report - September 2

sheriff2On Saturday August 30th Deputy Nathan Maxlow observed a vehicle weaving on US 68 E. When Deputy Maxlow initiated traffic stop the vehicle nearly struck a road sign while pulling over. Upon contact with the subject Deputy Maxlow observed a strong odor of alcoholic beverage present. The subject advised that she has a DUI Suspended License and admitted to drinking wine prior to driving. There were open alcoholic beverage containers in the vehicle.

Calvert City Police Report - September 2

calvertThomas W. Jones, 55, of 415 Southeast 4th Avenue, Calvert City was arrested on August 29, 2014 by Officer Mike Canon for DUI 1st offense.

Cole A. Cordes, 22, of 14 Daven Dale Lane, Hardin was arrested on August 31, 2014 by Officer Wes Babcock on a Marshall County warrant for theft by unlawful taking (gasoline) under $500.

Sheriff's Report - August 12

sheriff2Theft by Unlawful Taking
On Saturday August 9th Deputy Jason Lane received a call that they had a utility trailer stolen by a male subject driving a Gray Ford F-150 truck. Witnesses observed a male subject hook up to the trailer and leave the area traveling on US Hwy 641 N. Officer Cannon with Calvert City Police Department located the described vehicle and made a traffic stop.
