Sheriff's Office seeking information into wall damage at local cemetery

crimestoppersBENTON - The Marshall County Sheriff's Office is seeking information into an incident that occurred sometime between Sunday and Wednesday the 28th, when someone drove their vehicle into the wall at Morland Cemetery which is near the entrance to Moors.

Calvert City Police Report - January 24

Donald C. Burd, 39, of 25 Shemwell Cemetery Lane, Benton was arrested on January 18, 2015 by Officer Wes Babcock for operating on a suspended or revoked operators license.

Sheriff's Report - January 21

On January 17th at approximately 4:48 a.m., Deputy Nathan Maxlow was dispatched to Mayfield Highway due to a possible impaired driver. Deputy Maxlow met the vehicle and it almost struck him.

Calvert City Police Report - January 12

Patrick J. Devine, 26, of 205 West 3rd Avenue, Calvert City was arrested on January 10, 2015 by Officer Mike Canon on a Lyon County warrant for failure to comply.
He was also charged with driving on a DUI suspended license 1st offense, one headlight, and failure to produce insurance card.

Sheriff's Report - December 27

sheriff2On Sunday December 28th at 5:25 p.m. Deputy Samantha Mighell responded to I24 for a two vehicle accident with injuries. Kami Heffington 26, of Paducah, was traveling from the Purchase Parkway northbound to I24 eastbound.

Sheriff's Report - December 29

sheriff2On Wednesday December 24th Lt. Brett Edwards received a call of a subject passed out in a vehicle in the middle of Harvey Road. Upon arrival Lt. Edwards observed the subject in the vehicle passed out with his foot on the brake and the vehicle in gear. Lt. Edwards and Deputy Jason Ivey proceeded to wake the subject up telling him to shift the vehicle into park and the subject didn’t respond, running into the cruiser. The subject had a half of a beer in the console and several empty cans in the vehicle. Jonathan A. Moore 40, of Bartlett, Tn, was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence.
