Benton Middle School student earns 'Above and Beyond' award

capfebBENTON - The Academically Above & Beyond Award is chosen by the Principal, Mrs. Jill Darnall each month. Pamela Ross was chosen for the month of February. She is involved in many extra curricular activities and maintains a high GPA.

Successful clean-up day held at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park

groupcleanpicGILBERTSVILLE - Saturday, March 15th, nearly 70 volunteers participated in a "clean-up day" at the Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park.
Among the volunteers were students from local elementary schools, middle schools and the high school including a group of over 30 from North Marshall Middle coordinated by science teacher Mr. Aaron Edwards.
