Marshall Stars win championship in Nashville

marshallstarsNASHVILLE - The Marshall Stars 3rd grade boys travel team recently became 3rd grade division champions in the "March Madness" tournament in Nashville, Tn.
Team members are front row left to right; Trey Wall, Drew May, Hunter Anderson and Hayden Powell. Back row left to right; Jake Stokes Chase Binkley, Gunner Hoover and Logan Davis. Coaches are Missy Stokes and Rhett Anderson.

Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway announces ticket prices, season pass options

kylakemotorspeedwayCALVERT CITY - Plans are for Kentucky Lake Motor Speedway to begin weekly racing on Saturdays in March and continue through October, a calendar which would provide as many as 35 weekends of competition.

Marshall duo win awards at Graves County Riding Club

pagelOn November 16, McKenzie Coil (right) and Hadley Pagel (left) were rewarded for their great season by the Graves County Riding Club. McKenzie won Grand Champion and Hadley won Reserve Champion in the Youth Walk-Trot division where they must demonstrate technical mastery and control of their horses on demand. McKenzie won other awards this past season as well. Both girls attend North Marshall Middle. 

Meet the Marshals kicks off winter sports season

danceteamDRAFFENVILLE - Marshall County's 2013-14 winter sports season has officially begun with the annual Meet the Marshals Thursday evening at Reed Conder Gymnasium.
Following the Backboard Club fish fry dinner, the teams were introduced by Marshals and Lady Marshals announcer Dennis Foust.
