CALVERT CITY - As warmer weather settles in, it’s once again time for the spring sports season to start up, meaning the Orange Waves Swim Team will be preparing for practices to roll in. Team membership is open to all children ages five to 18.

PADUCAH – Nineteen Paducah Swim Team members have qualified for the Kentucky Swimming Short Course Championships. Swimmers ages 12 and under will compete the weekend of March 15 in Lexington. Swimmers ages 13 and above will compete the weekend of March 22 in Louisville.
LOUISVILLE - Marshall County High School senior swim team member Carli Merrick was awarded the 2013 Girl's Swimming Uncommon Excellence Award for sportsmanship at the KHSAA State Swimming Championships last weekend at the University of Louisville.
OWENSBORO - The KHSAA Region One Swimming Championships were held Friday and Saturday at the Owensboro Health Park with swimmers vying for a coveted top 16 spot in each event to move on to Saturday's finals and a chance at a trip to the state meet.
PADUCAH - Following a great meet at Madisonville where four MCHS swim records fell, the Marshall swim team competed on Monday, January 21, in the Paducah Invitational Swim Meet at the Paducah Athletic Club.
MADISONVILLE - It was a record setting night Friday in Madisonville for the Marshall County High School swim team, as four school records fell all in the same meet.
Austin Gordon set two new school records starting with the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.96 breaking the previous record of 1:04.08 set by Ian Frietag in 2009.
