Several Marshall swimmers qualify for Finals at KHSAA Region One Championships

relayteamOWENSBORO - Marshall County High School swimmers completed their season February 13-14 at the KHSAA Region One Championships at the Owensboro Health Park. Both the girls and boys 200 yard medley and boys 200 and 400 yard freestyle relay teams qualified out of Friday's Preliminaries for Saturday's finals as well as one individual qualification for Saturday's finals coming from Jackson Brown in the 100 yard backstroke event. The top 16 in each event moved on to the finals with the top eight in the Final and bottom eight times in the Colsolation Final.

Marshall County swim team competes in Bowling Green's Best of the West

jacobrushingBOWLING GREEN - Marshall County's swim team competed in the Best of the West meet at Bowling Green High School on Saturday. The 13 team meet also included teams from Bowling Green, Murray High, Hopkinsville, Owensboro Catholic, Muhlenberg, Glasgow, Greenwood, Allen County Scottsville, Logan County, Barren County, South Warren, and Russellville.

Boys take first, girls second at Madisonville Nofsinger Invitational swim meet

myers-spencerMADISONVILLE - Marshall County's swim team competed in the Nofsinger Invitational on January 8th at the Madisonville YMCA in a five-team meet that included Madisonville North Hopkins, Hopkins County Central, Franklin Simpson and Ohio County.

Swim team takes the win in dual meet at Madisonville YMCA pool

wyattmoshureMADISONVILLE - In a dual meet with Madisonville North Hopkins and Hopkins County Central, the Marshall County swim team won in combined scores 181-177 over Madisonville and 120-74 over Hopkins County.
The Marshall boys won 71-24 over Hopkins County and 94-78 over Madisonville while the girls beat Hopkins County 50-49 and lost to Madisonville 99-87.

Swim team takes third at the Mustang Sprint Invitational

shelbispencerPADUCAH - Marshall County's swim team took third on December 1st at the McCracken County Mustang Sprint Invitational at the Paducah Athletic Club out of seven participating teams that included McCracken County, Murray High, Paducah Tilghman, Calloway County, St. Mary, Caldwell County, and Marshall County. Murray placed first and McCracken County second in front of the Marshall swimmers.

Marshall County swimmers compete in Hopkinsville in first meet of the season

emeliaanderssonHOPKINSVILLE - Marshall County High School swim team kicked their season off on Saturday at the Rick Cohn Tiger Invitational, Hopkinsville High School Aquatics Center.
The Marshall swimmers placed 8th in the 11 team meet that included teams from Bowling Green High School, Murray High School, Hopkinsville High School, Owensboro Catholic High School, Daviess County High School, McCracken County High School, Apollo High School, Paducah Tilghman High School, Calloway County High School, St. Mary High School.
