Local swimmers qualify for Kentucky Short Course Championships

pststateswimmersPADUCAH – Nineteen Paducah Swim Team members have qualified for the Kentucky Swimming Short Course Championships. Swimmers ages 12 and under will compete the weekend of March 15 in Lexington.  Swimmers ages 13 and above will compete the weekend of March 22 in Louisville.

Merrick receives state award for sportsmanship at KHSAA Swimming Championships

Fast times at Madisonville Y, as swim team sets four new school records

400freestylerelayteamMADISONVILLE - It was a record setting night Friday in Madisonville for the Marshall County High School swim team, as four school records fell all in the same meet.
Austin Gordon set two new school records starting with the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:02.96 breaking the previous record of 1:04.08 set by Ian Frietag in 2009.
