DRAFFENVILLE - The Marshall County High School Competitive Squad participated in UCA camp at Marshall County High School July 15-17. They were recognized as Superior Squad status, won the spirit stick and eight girls qualified for All American Cheerleader. Those girls were Charlstyn Beard, Chaney Sherman, Shelby Webb, Sydney Smothers, Kinzie Sherman, Billie Moore, Karly King and Shannon Powell.
BENTON - Following at stellar half-time dance performance at Tuesday night's girl's district game against the Calloway County Lakers, the North Marshall Middle School Cheerleader Varisty Squad met at the Four Pigs restaurant in Benton where they shared a meal celebrating the upcoming end to their season.
Cheerleaders were awarded with recognition plaques, many of which have already dedicated several years to the sport, and thanked by coaches who will be sending most off to high school this coming school year.
TUNICA, MS - Marshall County High School competition cheer squad took first place Saturday at the UCA Delta Blues Challenge cheer competition at the Tunica Arena and Expo Center in Tunica, MS.
Saturday, January 26th, the squad will compete in the KHSAA Competitive Cheer Championships in Bowling Green at Western Kentucky University's Diddle Arena. Divisions include all-girls and coed with the winning schools in each division at the regional level advancing to the state competition.
DRAFFENVILLE - Marshall County High School was the site Saturday for the KHSAA Regions 1 and 2 Cheerleading Competition as music, chants and cheers filled Reed Conder Gymnasium.
