Local golfers finishing well in recent tournaments

quinneatonNorth Marshall Middle School student Quinn Eaton, recently placed second in the United States Junior Golf Tour tournament at Swan Lake in Clarksville, TN, on March 16 and 17. Quinn put together two rounds of 83-90=173 to capture second in the tournament.

Corey Lampley will hit the links for Brescia University

coreylampleyDRAFFENVILLE - Corey Lampley signed Friday at Marshall County High School to take his golf talents to Brescia University and play for the Bearcats next fall. Lampley will join fellow Marshall golfer Emily Baker, who signed to play for Brescia last week.

ashleymckentyBENTON - Marshall County High School senior Ashley McKenty signed to play golf for the St. Catharine College Patriots next fall under Head Coach Joan Rizer, who has been the boys and girls golf coach for 15 years. St. Catharine is a member of the NAIA Mid-South Conference and is located near Springfield, Ky.
