Grammer signs with Rend Lake College Volleyball

madisongrammer Madison Grammer, a senior at Marshall County High School in Benton, Ky., signed a national letter of intent to play volleyball for Sara Crews at Rend Lake College in Ina, Ill.
"I'm really looking forward to playing volleyball and meeting my new teammates," Grammer said. "I can't wait for the season to start and continue my education at Rend Lake."

MCKENZIE, TN - Marshall County High School volleyball alum, Shea Sheppard, just wrapped up a stellar four years as a setter for the Bethel Lady Cats Volleyball team. Shea, a 5'9" senior at Bethel, not only excelled on the volleyball court but in the classroom as well as a three year TranSouth Scholar Athlete currently holding a 3.57 GPA in Business Administration and will graduate in May.

LONE OAK - Everyone knew coming into the 2012 Volleyball season that Lone Oak would once again be the team to beat. Lone Oak won last years Region 1 Championship losing in the first round of the state playoffs to Greenwood.

DRAFFENVILLE - It was a full house at Marshall County's Auxiliary gym Tuesday as the Lady Marshals and Christian Fellowship played in the second game of the evening in the 4th District Volleyball Tournament, a game that did not disappoint.

DRAFFENVILLE - Ending their regular season on a high note, the Christian Fellowship Lady Eagles swept Ballard Memorial in three straight games (28-26, 25-22, 25-23) after losing to them twice early in the season. The 20-6 Lady Eagles will begin play as the number two seed Tuesday at Marshall County High School in the 4th District Tournament against Marshall County in the 7:00 game.
