MARSHALL COUNTY - The first round of potentially hazardous weather for December is moving into the area following overnight lightning and thunderstorms.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch in effect until 9 p.m. as a cold front moves through.

The NWS storm center says damaging winds, marginally severe hail and brief short-lived tornadoes are possible in today’s weather pattern, however, heavy rains and lightening are expected to be the primary hazard.
