BENTON - Kent Barlow’s legal team appeared in Marshall County Circuit Court this morning where they presented a motion requesting shock probation for their client.
Barlow was convicted of first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree assault following an incident that occurred in March involving his girlfriend at his Soldier Creek home. Barlow was sentenced to serve 10 years in August for his crimes.
When asked if the prosecution was in favor of granting the motion, Commonwealth Attorney Mark Blankenship stated they were opposed.
Foust said he would take the request into consideration and would issue a ruling on his decision.
