The Marshall County Marching Marshals concluded their season this past Saturday by participating in the Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) State Competition. The Marching Marshals season ended in the semifinals, with the band coming in 12th place out of the 16 competing bands in class 5A.
The season started out on a high note with a Grand Champion performance at the Graves County Classic, followed by a ninth place finish at Festival of Champions at Murray State University, and a 10th place overall finish and second in the Small Division at the Music City Invitational in Nashville, Tennessee.
The group finished the KMEA Quarterfinals in sixth place to earn the right to participate in this past Saturday’s event. The Marching Marshals would like to thank the community for their support this year.
