David A. James, 74, of West Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 6:13 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Carter County, Kentucky on September 26, 1949 to the late Dave A. James and Oval Stamper James. David worked for several different restaurants and was a handy man helping people with different projects. He was a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ. David will be remembered as a good and loving husband and father. He enjoyed watching TV in his spare time.
David is survived by his wife, Deloris Ann James; son, David William James of Madisonville, Kentucky; sister, Annie Griffin of Texas; brother Clayton James.
He was preceded in death by seven sisters and three brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Spring Hill Cemetery in Hickman County, Kentucky with Mr. Paul Wingfield officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
