Marshall County’s Region 1 Champion Special Olympics flag football team played in the State Flag Football Tournament this past weekend at Tate’s Creek High School and advanced to the title game after a 22-20 win over the Brandenburg Twisters. In the championship game, they lost 24-8 to the Pitt Bearcats to finish with the silver medal.
