On Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at approximately 5:15 AM, McCracken County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Huck’s convenience store located at 5750 Benton Road for a reported armed robbery. Store employees reported that two white males, both wearing masks that partially concealed their faces, entered the store and demanded the money
from the cash registers. One of the suspects was armed with a black handgun and discharged the weapon inside of the store while making demands. The suspects also stole the wallet of a customer that was inside of the store at the time of the robbery. The suspects fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash and cigarettes. None of the victims were injured during the robbery.
Detectives have been following up on leads throughout the day and are continuing to process information as it becomes available.
