Taylor May

Flying high on his flyboard was his passion. His zest for life unwavering. An adventurous spirit, entrepreneur at heart and a selfless, loving soul. Through his contagious smile and baby blue eyes, he brought joy, laughter and enormous love to  those around him. His curious nature and aspirations were interrupted at an early age of 23. Taylor Harris May of Calvert City, KY passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at his home.

Born Thursday, February 17, 1994 in Paducah, KY, he was a graduate of Marshall County High School. Hardworking and responsible, he worked with Mark Wells Construction. A member of Sharpe Baptist Church, “Taybird’s” spirit is now souring through the heavens.

Surviving are his mother, Holly Plunkette, husband Alan of Calvert City, KY, father, Anthony May, wife Angel of Fairview, TN, brothers, Blake May of Murray, KY and Karson May of Calvert City, KY, sisters, Isabella May of Fairview, TN, Julie Plunkette of Murfreesboro, TN and girlfriend Allison Manley of Benton, KY.

To bid farewell and celebrate his life, the funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Rev. Jason Medley will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Calvert City Cemetery, Calvert City, KY.

Friends are welcome to visit with the family between the hours of 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday, March 17, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
