Becky Jo Barrett, 42, of Mayfield, KY formerly of Benton, Kentucky passed away at 1:02pm Thursday January 5, 2017 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
She was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Allison Powell and husband Brandon of Paducah, KY, her son, Barrett Sledd and wife Lauryn of Benton, KY; her father, Gerald Barret and step mother Lindy Barret of Calvert City, KY; her love of her life, Terry Lindsey of Mayfield, KY; her grandchildren which she loved dearly, Kylie Powell, Ashton Powell, Maggie Marie Sledd and Taylor Mae Sledd; her brother, Johnny Barrett of Benton, KY, her two sisters, Gela Hamlett and husband Allan of Benton, KY and Jenny Lou Sutherland and husband Trandon of Symsonia, KY; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Becky was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Ann Edwards Barrett; maternal grandparents, George and Hazel Edwards and paternal grandparents, Woodrow and Naomi Barrett.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday January 8, 2017 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Mylon Smith will officiate and burial will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Friends may call after 5:00PM Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
