Mr. Frank O Snyder, age 93 of Benton, KY passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis, IL. Born Wednesday, December 27, 1922 in Kirkland, IL, he was the son of the late John Snyder and the late Lillian (Ekstrom) Snyder. He was the husband of the late Wilma (Neely) Snyder. Surviving are his daughter, Janis Dodson of Paducah, KY; 4 grandchildren; Angel Dodson, Jessica Dodson, Jody Liddle and William Dodson, 4 great-grandchildren, Brandon Dodson, Alexander King, Austin Dodson and Madison Dodson. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Frank Michael Snyder, one sister, Marion Heinson. A Funeral service will held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY. Interment will follow in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Benton, KY. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016, at the Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
