JIMMY DALE YOUNG, 69, of Leesburg, Florida formerly of Benton, KY, passed away at 5:14PM Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at his home.
Jimmy was a retired truck driver, and a veteran of the United States Army having served in V. He was a member of Hardin-Berkley Lodge #567 F & AM and the Rizpah Shrine.
He is survived by one daughter, Tina Stewart and her husband Brad of Benton, KY; two sons, Todd Young and his wife Ginger and Jacky Young and his wife Julie all of Benton, KY; eight grandchildren, Sasha Sheppard, NaShea Sheppard, Ashley Allen, Mallory Young, Lucas Young, Addie Young, Gunner Young and Brodie Young; one sister, Evelyn Adams of Farmington, MO; and one brother, Billy Young of Poplar Bluff, MO.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Ray Andrew Young and Helen Naomi Bible Young.
Graveside funeral services with full military honors will be at 2:00PM on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Rev. Joshua Horton will officiate and burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM until 12:30PM on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
