Robert E. (Bob) Bussey, age 70, of Benton, KY, died Friday, July 3, 2015, at his residence in Benton, KY. Mr. Bussey was a retired purchasing agent for the TVA, a member of the Elks Lodge #2707 and of the Methodist Faith.
He was the son of the late W.H. “Billy” Bussey and the late Pauline (Perryman) Bussey. He is also preceded in death by Julia (Henson) Harris, Debra Harris Janoski, and Corey Curtis.
He is survived by one sister: Betty (Bussey) Treas and husband Larry of Benton, KY; one brother: Bill Bussey and wife Wanda of Paris, TN; nieces and nephews: Scott Treas of Cadiz, KY, Anita Doom of Benton, KY, John Treas of Lexington, KY, & Tony Bussey of Chatanooga, TN. Also surviving are Christine Harris Curtis of St. Louis, MO, Matthew and Elizabeth Curtis of St. Louis, MO, Gregory Harris of Athens,GA, and Capt. Amelia Elizabeth Janoski.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home in Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, July 5, 2015. Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM, Monday, July 6, 2015, with Dr. Gary Boggess officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Benton, KY.
