LOUISVILLE – Middle School track athletes competed on Saturday in the KTCCCA Middle School State Championships at the University of Louisville.
The Middle School team had 21 top 10 finishes at the state meet.
Sophie Galloway captured individual State Championships with two firsts in the 100 meter hurdles and long jump and took second in the triple jump and third in the high jump.
Keagin Brooks is a State Champion in the Javelin, setting a new state record by 15 feet with a throw of 107’10” and took third in the discus.
Tori McCracken finished state runner-up in the high jump, the boy’s 4 x 400 relay team of Grant Wilson, Bryce Powell, J.D. Whirley and Jacob Miller took third, and another third place finish went to Bryce Ladd in the pole vault.
